We are in a time of great awakening. Did you know that the great awakening happens from within? Did you know that as you awaken you awaken those around you?
I've been compelled, my whole life really, to "wake people up" to the idea that something just doesn't feel right within our collective perception. I remember as a young child asking my father why I was eating a hamburger but petting the cows next door. I was so young I don't even remember his answer, I simply allowed the answer to embed itself into my subconscious. I have another memory standing on our porch watching a red star explode! Imagining how long ago that star exploded and how long it took that light to get to me.
These are only two memories, but I have a ton more! Memories that I had forgotten. I've even been shown memories of when I was a baby. These are the moments that wrap themselves into our subconscious. The memories that we forget about but we act out the truth we hold within them.
As I began my shadow work journey I was so excited to take everyone along with me. Except, no one wanted to come along. I didn't realize everyone is on their own journey and sometimes people simply get off to see the sites as I continue along. As I began my shadow work I started seeing the shadows within everything. This has been a really beautiful gift, it's been a beautiful gift of understanding others.
So simply, as I begin my great awakening I help awaken others around me. The great awakening that is happening within me is reflecting in the world around me. It is more than shadow work, it is compassion, it is trust, it is whatever you pick up along your journey. Not all of us are at the same places within our journey.
